Communing With God On Vacation: Sinks Canyon; Wyoming (Photos)

Sinks

I’ve been privileged enough to have the ability (thanks to my husband) to go on a vacation for a week (still ongoing) with the entire family whilst spending it with family. It’s nice to get away from the incessant hustle of the city, and take a step back while enjoying God in Her/His natural habitat that is nature.

We stumbled upon this AMAZING place not far from where we are staying called Sinks Canyon State Park and I’ve seen plenty of what God provides us with nature, but this place truly took my breath away. I had felt a peace the entire time I was there that I’ve never quite felt before.

The smell of the rushing runoff from the melting snow from the mountains was heavenly; the rushing sound quieted my interior spiritual conflicts; the giant boulders that lined the ginormous limestone caverns was a natural plug to my own whirlwind of self-deprecating thoughts and relentless worries.

It was just a BEAUTIFUL and divine escape from this reality.

Now, for the pictures.

Combing through the huge boulders - where the water trickles to get to the Rise - we found animal bones.
